You Don't Have to Live With That Smell

It started with a cup of coffee and my wife's laugh.

She was driving my dad's old Ranger — the kind of truck that carries more memories than miles — when her coffee slipped out of the cup holder. No big deal, she said. But within a day, that cab smelled like a coffee shop that had been sealed shut for a month. Sweet at first, then sour, then just wrong.

I wasn't going to let that truck smell like that. So I started calling around.

The quotes came back fast: $400. $450. One guy wanted $500 — for a full detail. I didn't need my truck detailed. I needed the smell gone. There's a difference, and nobody seemed to care about it.
